Barrel Mills, Disc Mills, Ring Mills Know by a various name. They consist of a shallow cylinder with one or two internal rings and a heavy disc. The sample is placed in the space between disc and rings and the mill is securely clamped into a vibrating barrel. These mills are designed for reduction of materials to extremely find fowders for preparation of samples for spectro analysis. It is advisable to use mills with sound proof cabinets.
Single pot mill can accommodate either 250ml or 100ml pot.
Six pot mill can accommodate 6 x 100ml pots.
3 pot mill can accommodate 3 x 250ml or 300mm pots.
Pots available in carbon steel, chrome steel and tungsten carbide.
