The Ro-Tap Testing Sieve Shaker is the unquestioned standard of comparison in all laboratories over the world. It accurately reproduces the circular and tapping motion given testing sieves in hand-sieving, but with a uniform, mechanical action assuring dependable, comparable tests. The Ro-Tap can handle six 8" diameter full-height or thirteen half-height sieves. Adaptors are available for using 5" or 3" diameter sieves. A Ro-Tap for 12" diameter sieves is also available on special order.
The Ro-Tap is operated by a vertically mounted, totally enclosed 1/4 hp motor, and has a built-in timer. It can be supplied for operation from 110 or 220 volt, 60 cycle single phase current, or 110 or 220, 50 cycle current. Specify voltage and current desired. Dimensions are: height: 25"; width 28"; depth 21". Shipping weight is 200 lbs.
Sound Enclosure Cabinet
Designed to be used exclusively with Ro-Tap Sieve Shakers, operating noise levels are reduced from approximately 85 dB to 60 dB. The cabinet is fabricated with 18 gauge steel and a 1" metal faced, acoustic foam inner liner. Overall dimensions are 35" wide, 24" deep, and 29" high. Accommodates both 8" and 12" Ro-Tap models. Unit weight is 80 lbs; shipping weight is 90 lbs.
Test Stand
Specifically designed for Ro-Tap and Tyler Coarse Sieve Shakers, the Test Stand can be used with or without the Sound Enclosure Cabinet. Sturdy aluminum construction, with anchor brackets for fastening to floor or foundation. Allows for optimal use of available laboratory space dedicated to test sieving. Overall dimensions are 20" wide, 32" deep, and 28" high. Unit weight is 45 lbs; shipping weight is 50 lbs.
