Our permanent clamps are an essential part of keeping the other parts of the filter press in working order for longer. On previous models the replaceable clamps would wear very quickly, in turn placing more work on the Tommy bar to seal the press.
maintenance: when the clamp/Tommy bar threaded parts eventually wear they can be easily replaced. (they are stock items) the nut in the swing housing is cast iron, heavy duty and extra long so that stripping of the nut and Tommy bar is reduced. This is an important safety feature. The pivot bolts have steel bushes for longer life.
