Effective Laboratory Supplies make a variety of different rifflers, mild steel or stainless steel with various slot sizes and number of slots. Rifflers come with three bins made to suit and can be stacked to produce 1/4, 1/8 or 1/16 splits.
It is important to remember that your slot size should be 3 times larger than your biggest particle size. Our smallest gap sizes is a ¼ inch so for a representative split of samples with a particle size smaller than 20mm, a cascade splitter is required.
